BIOGRAPHY
Ryn Lee’s experience as a performer, accompanist, and sacred music director spans Korea as well as the United States. In addition, she has been maintaining a private studio since 1998. She teaches piano performance, music history, and theory. Her students are winners of USOMC and Junior Bach as well as local and state competitions. They have performed at venues including, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and The Academy of Music at the Kimmel Center. Ms. Lee is a member of Texas Music Teachers Association (MTNA) as well as Music Teachers' Association of California. She served as co-chair for the NJMTA Festival in 2013. Also, she has served as an adjudicator for NJMTA events as well as the Piano Teachers Forum in New Jersey. Ms. Lee received her Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy and Performance from Westminster Choir College and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. Past teachers include Ingrid Clarfield, Phyllis Lehrer, Dr. James Goldsworthy, Dr. Rachel Heard, and Marion Zarzeczna.
